Zwei-Faktor-Authentifizierung
Ein Sicherheitsverfahren, bei dem der Zugang zu einem Konto durch zwei voneinander unabhängige Authentifizierungsmerkmale bestätigt wird, meist Wissen (Passwort) und Besitz (Gerät oder Token).
Nach Aktivierung der Zwei-Faktor-Authentifizierung wird zusätzlich zum Passwort ein Einmalcode an das Smartphone gesendet.

A security process in which a user grants access to an account by presenting two distinct authentication factors, typically something they know (a password) and something they possess (a device or token).
Enabling two-factor authentication on your account adds a one-time code sent to your phone in addition to your password.
